Is the Tomtom iPhone car kit value for money?

Why I should buy the whole iPhone tomtom car kit shebang as opposed to an original tomtom? The iPhone tomtom app costs approx £60 and the iPhone Car Kit is about £114.00. Total = £174.00.
On Amazon I can get a decent tomtom for around £120.00. Done! Apart from looking extremely cool please can someone tell me why the iphone tomtom with car kit is better value for money?

The car kit is not £114. The carkit along with the app was rumoured to be £113 on a British website. The app has been released at £60 in the uk which makes the car kit about £60.
Get your facts right before you publish.
@asteve jobs, That British website you are referring to mentions both the app and in car kit for £113.99 in the headline, but if you read on in the article, it clearly states that the app is sold seperatly through iTunes.
This confusion on pricing and product makes me wonder if the store really sells the product or just a marketing gimmick.
